How to EASILY Grow Your Comfort Zone – Define Your “New” Normal

In this blog post, you’re going to learn how you can EASILY grow your comfort zone.

It’s incredible how many people live their entire lives stuck inside of their comfort zones. If something they’re not comfortable with comes into their life, they will avoid it out of fear of stepping outside of their comfort zone.

Here’s the truth – comfort zones are limits. They will stunt your growth as a person if you choose to stay inside of it.

How can you grow your comfort zone?

An easy way you can do that is by changing what you define as “normal.”

Let’s say you’re scared of public speaking. Doing that is not “normal” for you. Your brain doesn’t register it as something you’re totally comfortable with.

The only way to fix that is to train yourself to make what you’re scared of your “new normal”. That’s done by putting yourself out there and just doing it.

One of my goals for this summer was to approach any cute girl I see without ANY hesitation. That’s something I consider “outside of my comfort zone”. It’s not instinct for me to automatically talk to a random girl out in public.

Doing that isn’t “normal” for me.

In order for me to expand my comfort zone, I need to make talking to random girls my “new” normal.

Here’s what I did…

Last week, I called up my boy and told him we should go to Lincoln Road (a famous shopping block down here in Miami) and start talking to people. He agreed, so we rode out.

For those who have never been there, Lincoln Road is amazing. It has a ton of stores, a bunch of people walking around, and more importantly, it has a mess of cute girls walking all over the place.

What we ended up doing is we would force each other to talk to girls. If one of us saw a cute girl, we would literally shove each other so we had to talk to them. At first I was a little nervous, but the more I did the more I started getting used to it. By the end of the day, the second any of us saw a cute girl it was automatic. Our feet started moving before we could even process what we were doing.

That’s how you expand your comfort zone!

The more you do something you’re scared of…. the more you step outside your comfort zone… whatever it was you were uncomfortable doing before, becomes your new normal.
