Yo!. It’s Edwin Torres.
In the last 6 years, I’ve gone through hundreds of books, articles, and videos all about personal development, self-improvement, and success.
And in those 6 years, I’ve used all the information I learned to completely transform my life.
It might sound hard to believe but not too long ago I was the most unconfident guy you could have ever met.
In high school I was super shy and insecure. I never felt like I truly belonged. And even though on the surface I was this friendly guy, inside I cared way too much what people thought of me. I never felt at ease with myself and had this overwhelming feeling of anxiety almost every day.
Do you ever feel like you have untapped potential sitting inside of you?
That’s exactly how I felt.
One day I said enough was enough and decided it was time to fix this.
Fast forward to today, I can honestly say I’m more confident and secure in my own skin than I’ve ever been before.
I have old friends (who I’ve known for years) come and tell me all the time, “Bro! I don’t know what you did, but you’re not the same Edwin from high school.”
And that’s how Next Level Confidence was born.
I started this blog with the goal to help as many people as I could to “next level” every single area of their life.
And, real change comes from improving the one thing you can never have enough of – confidence.
Have you ever felt totally in the zone?
Where you feel like you can talk to just about anyone without any hesitations… Where every word flows perfectly out of your mouth… Where people are magnetically drawn and attracted to you… Where you feel totally comfortable and secure in your own skin…
That’s how I define next level confidence.
And I’m on a journey to find out how to achieve this level of confidence in your life.
Just so we’re clear…
I didn’t make this blog to preach you down to you. I didn’t make this blog to tell you about how cool I am. I didn’t make this blog to tell you that I get all the girls and that I’m a total badass. I didn’t make this blog to tell you that I never feel insecure. I didn’t make this blog to tell you that I never get “stuck inside my head”.
I still feel shy, awkward, and anxious from time to time.
And you know what? That’s totally okay!
The difference is, I don’t let myself stay stuck there.
The way I see it, you don’t become confident overnight. Anything worthwhile in life doesn’t come easy.
Think of it like a muddy slide.
The more you work on yourself, the more your confidence goes up. But, if you slip up and stop trying to improve yourself, you’re going to slowly slide back down to where you were before.
Personal development isn’t just about the destination, it’s about the journey too. Make it your goal to try to be 1% better today than you were yesterday.
This blog will show you everything I’ve learned over the years to become more confident.
